Villa Matagorda Beach is a fabulous 4 bedroom air-conditioned Villa with superb sea views from the first floor balcony – the perfect spot to relax and admire the stunning sunrise & sunsets. The villa is ideally located just 400 yards from the beautiful Matagorda Beach as well as the popular promenade with a great selection of bars and restaurants (see map below). The wonderful promenade runs alongside the seafront that stretches all the way into Puerto del Carmen to the south and all the way back towards Arrecife in the other direction. This allows for a leisurely stroll anytime you want or you can even rent bicycles and ride along the designated cycle path.

Less than a 10 minute taxi from Arrecife Airport and only a 1 minute walk to the beach.

Matagorda

Matagorda has a unique character all of its own. It boasts excellent beaches, good amenities, plenty of bars & restaurants and is only just a 10 minute taxi ride from Arrecife Airport.

The Matagorda centre has a great atmosphere, there is a brilliant selection of bars and restaurants with a Jazz bar, Japanese, Chinese, Indian & Spanish restaurants, Irish bars and Spar supermarket. There are also options to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal with sea views and you can watch the comings and goings along the promenade.

The beaches are really popular in Matagorda, they are fine golden sand and there is a lifeguard hut situated midway along the front.

Matagorda is also a great place for sporting enthusiasts, the promenade is popular with runners and cyclists as well as those just taking a stroll and it connects right through Puerto del Carmen and the other way to Playa Honda and Arrecife.

Matagorda is considered a tasteful extension to Puerto del Carmen and offers you the best of both worlds. The surroundings offer you a quieter holiday with, the more lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, only a short 10 minute taxi ride away.
